Clarity in Chaos: Collaborative art with Tash Brennfleck

10th June - 3rd July 2022, Connection Art Space, Dandenong VIC
Curated by Sam Kariotis

This group show consists of Wijeyeratne’s framed paintings and Brennfleck’s work printed both traditionally and on acetate, with both artists activating the space and creating a conversation with their interplay and shared use of strong block colours and an emphasis on shape. The two strongest motifs in this group show in both the thematic and curatorial sense are Intuition and conversation.

This concept of layering manifests in the show, seen in Tash and Natalie's collaborative work, but on a theoretical and less overt way the print, acetate, and framed paintings all work in tandem together to create a conversation about place, time, escapism and abstraction in the most fantastical sense."   - Sam Kariotis

IMMERSE: Knox Council

Ephemeral art at Miller's Homestead
November 2021, Boronia VIC

In 2001 Natalie designed and created a series of brightly coloured flags (Flagship I and Flagship II) for Knox Council as a homage to multiculturalism, diversity, and community. Alone the colours are insignificant but brought together the colours harmonise, emphasising the power and potential that differences in our society can offer, when working side by side.

Both flags are available to purchase directly from the artist. Contact here.
